WrestleMania 28 Rock vs Cena was “once in a lifetime” and WWE stated more than once that this match will never happen again.
Well a loophole for that would be if Cena was Mr Money In The Bank whilst The Rock was WWE champion, John Cena could cash in on The Rock (say the RVD way like he did with Punk) and the previous “once in a lifetime” stip from WrestleMania 28 would be “legally” void (for lack of a better term)
But now, even if Cena becomes WWE champion this Monday, doesn’t that mean that The Rock can’t have his WWE title match so long as Cena is WWE champion? (because of the WM stip)
The Rock can’t just decide he wants to face Cena again just because he’s WWE champion because WM28 was once in a lifetime.
I know slogans are slogans but WWE still stated the match will never happen again and for WWE to just blatently ignore that without any kind of “loophole” or “explanation” would just make a mockery of its paying fans.
